The big idea!
The first step of the process starts with you. Your grand plans. Your vision. Together with an experienced pool builder from RickStar Pools, we will look at your space, talk to you about your ideas, and come up with a plan specific to your backyard. We can recommend the best location for your pool, answer any questions you may have, and discuss the landscaping and paving options to make your dream a reality. During this step we will also begin the process of obtaining any necessary council approvals - removing that headache early in the process.
Excavation
Once the first big decision is made, RickStar Swimming Pool Installations will write up detailed plans and provide an all-inclusive for your approval to ensure there are no hidden surprises. As soon as the plans are agreed on and signed the real fun begins. RickStar Pools and Spas will begin excavating the area, clearing a space for your new pool, digging the hole for installation, and preparing the site for your new pool.
Installation/Construction
The next step in the process varies depending on the type of pool construction you have chosen. If you have opted for a fibreglass pool, the installation process progresses quickly. A standard fibreglass pool installation would take 2-3 days. All work is completed by our professional team - no subcontractors, just the most highly experienced RickStar Pools and Spas staff. For a concrete pool, the installation process can take much longer, as your concrete pool will be built on site, and then tiled or pebbled, plumbed in and tested.
Finishing up and Handover
The last step is filling your pool, and then completing final testing of the pump and all filtration equipment. At this point our experienced staff will also chemically balance your pool, ready for you to use. Your pool is then finished and ready for use! RickStar Pools and Spas will provide detailed information about how to care for your new pool, check and balance your water, and what pool maintenance is required.
